Manuscripts should be submitted as .docx or .rtf files with only the minimum formatting required to denote chapter titles and italics. Illustrations should be sent as 300 dpi JPG or TIF files at the size intended to be printed (preferably larger). Pure black-and-white images (decorative elements, inked maps) should be sent as 600 dpi TIF or EPS files.

Yes, your manuscript should be in as complete a state as you can manage prior to layout. Minor edits can still be handled during the revision rounds, but corrections requiring full paragraphs or chapters to be added, removed or edited may incur additional charges.

Yes! With the Fledgling and Intrepid Bard packages, your book interior will be completely custom designed for you (your cover will be prepped from your supplied image). With the Hero's Journey package, you'll also get a custom cover design using composited stock photos and digitally-painted elements to create a unique book cover!

Please note that 50% of the package price is a non-refundable deposit to secure your project slot. If either you or I need to cancel the project once it's in progress, you are entitled to the remaining 50% as a no-questions-asked refund.

Absolutely not. Only my own design, compositing and artistic skills are used to create your book and/or cover. Great care is also taken to confirm the source of stock photography to ensure it is also 100% human-made. When in doubt, I simply paint up or photograph whatever it is your project needs myself! :)
